Huyton Village Centre

Huyton, located in a prime location on the M62 corridor and with regular direct train services to Liverpool, Manchester, Wigan and Preston, is home to 55,000 residents and boasts well-established local amenities. However, the recent influx in house building in the area is driving demand for additional and improved retail and leisure provision in the town centre.

In May 2023, together with Genr8 Debelopments, KPL entered into a Development Partnering Agreement to support the transformation plans for Huyton, with Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council. The ambitious plans for the redevelopment include the delivery of a new mixed-used commercial district with opportunities for a hotel, office space, co-working centre, and residential accommodation, as well as the creation of an attractive new Village Green and improved, high-quality event spaces.

The scheme is estimated to generate over £50m boost to the local economy whilst also providing greater choice for residents and visitors, attracting more businesses into the centre and creating approximately 1,700 jobs.
