A commitment to long-term, vital investment into clean energy infrastructure

Kajima Partnerships' target is to develop +3.5GW of renewable energy projects over the next five years. To achieve this target, the business is currently focusing its activity in the UK and Poland. In the UK, Kajima Partnerships established Taiyo Power & Storage, a joint venture with Low Carbon Alliance. Taiyo is currently developing a portfolio of large-scale ground-mounted solar and battery energy storage facilities at Ready-To-Build stage across 600 hectares in the UK, with the potential to power approximately 140,000 homes annually. In Poland, and in partnership with Griffin Capital Partners, Kajima Partnerships acquired PAD RES, an experienced Polish renewable energy developer in wind, solar, and energy storage. Under the PAD RES platform, the business has developed projects with a total capacity of over 3.0GW in Poland, with more than 2,000 hectares currently under development. The Kajima Partnerships and Griffin Capital Partners are also the majority shareholders of Hymon, one of the largest solar PV, BESS and heating solutions installation companies in Poland, responsible for more than 80,000 installations to date.
