Kajima Partnerships and Hymon Deliver Rooftop Solar Energy to Student Housing in Poland

Kajima Partnerships is working with partners, Hymon, a leader in the Polish PV installation and heat pump sector, and Kajima Properties Europe's PBSA platform, Student Depot, the largest provider of student dormitories in Poland, to install PV panels on dormitory rooftops.

The first installation of almost 20kW at the site in Łódź has now been completed and will produce enough energy to power 15-20 of their dormitories throughout the year.

This marks another step towards Kajima’s target of developing + 3.5GW of renewable energy projects over the next five years. Subject to technical rooftop specifications, it is hoped that PV installations will be made at all nine of Student Depot’s existing sites.
